Founded in 2011, Signature Brew has built its reputation on crafting award-winning, music-inspired beers while collaborating with some of the biggest names in the music industry. By day, it's a state-of-the-art brewery; by night, its venues transform into vibrant live music spaces, hosting gigs, DJs and community events. With locations in Blackhorse Road and Haggerston, Signature Brew has become a cornerstone of London's independent beer and music scene, creating memorable experiences for craft beer lovers and music fans alike.
Our philosophy
At the Understudy, every drink tells a story: local, independent, and poured with purpose. Our taps are stacked with craft beers from some of the best breweries in London and beyond, with a rotating monthly guest brewers to keep things fresh.
We’re big on low and no alcohol too, with crisp pours from Nirvana Brewing and mood-boosting non-alc cocktails from Everleaf that don’t compromise on flavour.
Good for the planet
Sustainability is front and centre, from the carbon-negative KERB lager to closed-loop cocktails from Black Lines. We work closely with small-batch producers like Sapling, Two Drifters and East London Liquor Company, who care about quality, not quantity.
